This Cookie Policy explains how Brightlogic Consulting Ltd ("Brightlogic", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies used by this website
1.1 Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies support the security and operation of the website. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off through our cookie controls.
brightlogic_session
Provider: Brightlogic Consulting Ltd
Purpose: Maintains a secure session for form protection, including CSRF checks. The cookie contains a random session identifier and does not contain the information entered into a form.
Duration: Until you close your browser.
brightlogic_cookie_preferences
Provider: Brightlogic Consulting Ltd
Purpose: Records whether you accepted or rejected optional cookie categories, together with the version of the preferences used when you made your choice.
Duration: 180 days.
Form rate-limit records and application logs are kept on our server. They are not stored as browser cookies.
1.2 Optional cookies
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept Analytics. We use it to understand which pages are visited and how people use the website. We do not send the information entered into Contact, Support or Callback forms to Google Analytics. On Marketing Shares pages, accepting Analytics also permits Brightlogic to record access details for each page open and PDF download: the source IP address, browser user-agent, referring page (without its query string), a request identifier and a heuristic indication that the request may be a link preview or prefetch. These details are used to understand engagement with shared collateral and are removed after 90 days. The event type and time remain in the share’s operational activity history. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent access to the page or PDF; only the event type and time are recorded.
_ga
Provider: Google LLC
Purpose: Used by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors.
Duration: 2 years.
_ga_P0XFPH24C5
Provider: Google LLC
Purpose: Used by Google Analytics to maintain session information.
Duration: 2 years.
The website does not currently load a third-party user-experience or behaviour-insight service. Marketing Share access details are processed by Brightlogic on our own systems only after Analytics consent. We update this policy and the preference version when optional processing changes materially, so you can make a new choice.
2. Information processed when you visit
Like other websites, our server receives technical request information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use this information to deliver the website, protect forms against abuse and investigate technical faults. The preference cookie stores only your category choices and the policy version. If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics processes website-usage information and Brightlogic records the Marketing Share access details described above when a share page is opened or its PDF is downloaded. We do not use those details to identify a person or prove that a link was forwarded. Possible previews and prefetches are classified from request signals and may be misclassified.
We do not use cookies to collect the information you enter into Contact, Support or Callback forms.
3. Consent and changing your preferences
On your first visit, the website shows cookie controls that let you accept all optional categories, reject them or manage each category separately. Strictly necessary cookies remain active because the website needs them for security and session management.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer or on this page. Withdrawing Analytics stops detailed Marketing Share recording on later requests; it does not erase event types and times already in the activity history. You can also delete stored cookies through your browser settings.
4. Third-party resources
The website requests its typeface from Google Fonts and loads jQuery from code.jquery.com to support in-place form submission. These providers receive the technical information needed to deliver the requested files, such as your IP address and browser request details. Brightlogic does not use these resources for analytics or behaviour tracking.
Neither resource stores the Brightlogic session or preference cookies described in this policy. Google Analytics is supplied by Google LLC and is loaded only after Analytics consent. No advertising, tag-manager or third-party behaviour-insight service is currently loaded.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, forms and preference controls may not work correctly.
6. International processing
Third-party resource providers may process technical request information outside the UK. Please refer to each provider's privacy information for details of where and how it processes that information.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the website, its suppliers or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a change affects optional cookies, we will update the preference version and ask you to choose again.
